With his side needing 59 runs from 7.4 overs, Iftikhar hammered two sixes and six fours to finish as the tournament’s second top hitter with 409 runs scored at a remarkable strike rate of 170.41.On the last ball of the 17th over, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa skipper smoked Mohammad Faizan for a four through cover, erupting into a roar in the Lahore night sky. He was named the best player of the tournament and the player of the final.
