ABU DHABI (Reuters) – On Saturday, Australia defeated South Africa by five wickets thanks to an unbeaten 40-run stand between Marcus Stoinis and Matthew Wade in the opening match of the Twenty20 World Cup Super 12s.
Australia was 81-5 in their chase of 119, but Stoinis (24) and Wade (15) guided them home with two balls to spare in Abu Dhabi.
