
Pakistan’s all-format captain, Babar Azam, once again entered his records as he becomes the fastest batsman in the world to reach 20 T20I over half a century. Babar won the feat on West Indies during the second T20I.
The 51 runs in the second T20I were scored by Babar in 40 balls, including 4 four and 2 maximums. The superb hit of Babar contributed to a total of 157/8 for a tough pitch in Guyana in Pakistan. Pakistan’s bowling squad faced the challenge and defended the overall position to give Men a 1-0 lead in the four-game series in Green.

The Indian capital, Virat Kohli, had required 62 inputs to reach its 20 half-centuries. Babar exceeded the mark. Babar was also the world’s third batter with 20 half-centuries of T20I results. The two other Batsmen are the Indians combo of Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma.
Since he entered the national capital, the 27-year-old has been in spectacular shape. He was the backbone of Pakistan’s batting unit and has consistently scored substantially. Babar was the captain of the side in the 11th half-century, the second most successful captain in the globe. Virat Kohli, the Indian captain, holds his name as captain for 12 half-centuries.
Whereas Virat took 43 entries to skipper for 12 half-centuries, Babar took only 23 entries to capture 11 half-centuries.
