Steyn revealed the information during a Twitter question-and-answer session. One user asked Steyn which team he used to enjoy bowling against and which batter he considered to be his ‘bunny.’ Steyn was quick to respond, stating that while ‘bunny’ is a slightly derogatory term, he enjoyed bowling against Hafeez. He went on to say that he is friends with Hafeez.

Steyn also stated that he enjoys bowling against New Zealand because he has many wickets against them. He went on to say that New Zealand has become a “real force” in world cricket and that they have become one of the top teams in the world.
Steyn had a fantastic record against Hafeez, dismissing him a record 15 times in international cricket. In international cricket, no bowler has ever dismissed a batter more than once.

The 38-year-old is currently commentating on the ongoing T20 World Cup in 2021, his first stint as a commentator since retiring from international cricket last year.
