
The UK and Wales Cricket Board (EBC) today announe that Moeen Ali, slated for 2 September in The Oval, will take the position of Vice-Captain (VC) for England for the fourth test match with India.
Moeen wasn’t in the team at the beginning of the test series and now he’s the team’s VC. In only a couple of weeks he went up the ladder.

The series is currently lifted. Both sides won one match at the end of one match.
India won 151 runs during the second test. The man of the match was called L Rahul.
England won the third test with an inning and 76 runs. British exceeded India when the visitors at the first inning bowled for 78. The match was starred by Joe Root and Ollie Robinson.
Root got his sixth century of the year and ranked in the ICC test rankings as number one. For 65 runs, Robinson has taken5-wicket track.
