Turkey And Italy To Kick Off The Delayed Tournament Tonight

Paris: The Covid cloud still casting a shadow over the event will eventually start UEFA Euro 2020 this evening.

A pandemic postponed the European Championship 12 months ago.

The tournament will take place in 11 European cities. Euro 2020 will be played in front of limited crowds with strict health restrictions.

In-form Italy will compete with Turkey in the Rome Olympic Stadium in front of 16,000 fans.

The UEFA president, Aleksander Ceferin, stressed that Euro 2020 would be safe, despite some players who participated in the content-wide event.
