The Men in Green’s performances in the tournament thus far have been lauded by the cricketing community, and they are now considered among the favorites to win the T20 World Cup. Former Indian cricketer and current commentator Aakash Chopra is among the cricketing experts who lauded Pakistan’s outstanding performances in the two matches. Chopra described Pakistan’s team as “as good as gold” and praised the excellent team combination. Chopra stated that Pakistan’s success is due to several match-winners within the team and praised every player’s contribution to the team’s success.

“In the first match, it was Shaheen Shah Afridi with the ball, and Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan with the bat,” the former opener explained. When the second match against New Zealand took place in Sharjah, Haris Rauf performed with the ball and Asif Ali and Shoaib Malik with the bat.”

Pakistan has had six different heroes in the two matches, according to Chopra, and if they can maintain their form, a semi-final spot is almost guaranteed.
Pakistan currently leads Group B and is in a prime position to qualify for the semi-finals with only three matches remaining in the Super 12s stage. Pakistan’s next match is against Afghanistan, which promises to be a high-scoring affair. The game will take place on October 29 at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium.
