Indian cricket fans are frequently seen on social media spewing venom at Pakistan and its cricketers, but they went to new lows on Thursday when they chanted anti-Pakistan slogans during a Test match between India and New Zealand.
During the first session of India’s first Test match against New Zealand, Indian cricket fans chanted “Pakistan Murdabad” at Kanpur’s Green Park stadium.
The chants were heard over the microphone during the sixth over of India’s innings. The video quickly went viral on social media and drew harsh criticism from Pakistani fans.
Such slogans, according to one Twitter user, would be satisfying for ‘non-sanghis’ who were angry at Pakistanis for trolling New Zealand with’security’ chants.
