New Chairman of the Pacific cricket board (PCB), Ramiz Raja, has chosen Australia’s legendary batting Matthew Hayden and Vernon Philander of South Africa for the ICC T20 Cup World Championship as batting coach and bowling coach.
On Monday in the National High Performance Centre, Lahore, he conducted his maiden press conference as PCB boss, stating that Haydem had shared the locker room with some of the top players in Australia during his days of play.
Ramiz Raja has chosen as Chairman of the PCB without any dispute.

He says that this experience is useful to lift the moral of the national side in the worldwide T20I.
“I know Vernon and he performs fantastically against leading teams, especially Australia. I think both of them would help Pakistan cricket to do its best during the T20 World Cup,” he said.
He stated that during his tenure he would seek to reform the National Team’s coaching structure and added that unbiased coaches were the reason for Pakistan’s failure to have ‘published products.’
“The coaching arrangements of Pakistan must be revised. Trainers must instil in athletes the courageous mindset without jeopardising their techniques,” he stated.
Before that day, during a Board of Governors meeting the cricketer-turned commentator was voted unopposed as the next PCB President.
