Despite his poor performance in the ICC T20 World Cup 2021, Pakistan captain Babar Azam has expressed faith in his strike bowler’ Hasan Ali.
During a party hosted by seasoned all-rounder Shoaib Malik and his wife, Sania Mirza, to celebrate the third birthday of their son, Izhaan Mirza Malik, the captain, and team management held separate meetings with the players.
Babar praised the team’s performance and encouraged players to keep the momentum going into the knockout rounds.

He also praised Hasan Ali, the fast bowler, and referred to him as a “big match bowler.” Azam advised him to stay away from social media and concentrate on his bowling.
Hasan Ali, the world’s third-leading wicket-taker after Ravi Ashwin and Shaheen Afridi in 2021, has been erratic in the mega event.
In three T20 World Cup matches, he has taken one wicket and conceded 108 runs in 11 overs.
Babar, on the other hand, was unfazed by his appearance and assured Hasan Ali that he had his support.
“You are our strike bowlers, and we are rooting for you,” Babar told Hasan.
Babar also expressed confidence in senior players, including Mohammed Hafeez, and expressed hope that he would win matches for him in the future.
“It makes no difference whether we play Australia or South Africa in the semifinals; we will beat them and then win the final,” the captain added.
