ICC adds match highlights in Urdu on its official website

The International Cricket Council (ICC) has published highlights of prior matches in Urdu to the ICC’s website, allowing Urdu-speaking cricket fans to see highlights of past matches in their own language.

The International Cricket Council (ICC) has added multiple languages to their official website in order to make cricket more inclusive, globalised, and appealing to new fans.

These additional highlights are also likely to be posted on the ICC’s official YouTube account.

So far, an Urdu-language video of highlights from a bowl-out between Pakistan and India during the group stages of the inaugural T20 World Cup in 2007 has been uploaded.

More cricket match highlights are scheduled to be uploaded in the Urdu language. Highlights of earlier World Cup matches have been posted in the Urdu language as the T20 World Cup 2021 approaches.

In the run-up to the 2021 T20 World Cup, more highlights of T20 World Cup matches are planned to be uploaded.
