Babar Azam, Mohammad Rizwan, Fakhar Zaman, and senior batsmen Mohammad Hafeez and Shoaib Malik are among the batters in the squad.
Furthermore, Haider Ali and Asif Ali have been named to the squad, but only one of them will most likely compete in the crunch match.
As all-rounders, Imad Wasim and vice-captain Shadab Khan are named to the 12-man squad.

Meanwhile, the team’s pace attack will be led by left-arm ace fast bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi, Haris Rauf, and Hasan Ali.
Pakistan will attempt to break the jinx of failing to defeat their neighbours in a World Cup match.
