Joe Root Eyes Mohammad Yousuf’s Record for Most Test Runs in a Year

In the past year Joe Root, England’s Test captain, was outstanding. In the past year he has achieved almost 1,300 runs and his goals are to beat the record for most trials in a calendar year. The record is now held by Mohammad Yousuf, a Pakistani mid-order batsman who scored 1,788 in 2006.
