‘Just another game of cricket’ for Kohli
Earlier this week, the Indian captain remained unmoved by the buildup to the India-Pakistan World Cup match.
“I’ve always approached this game as if it were just another game of cricket,” he explained.
In response to the high cost of the match tickets, the Indian captain acknowledged that the hype surrounding this particular match was enormous.
On Monday, the Babar Azam-led Pakistan squad defeated the West Indies by seven wickets in an all-out team effort in their warm-up match for the ICC T20 World Cup in Dubai.
Pakistan, on the other hand, was defeated by South Africa on Wednesday in a match that came down to the last ball. Both Pakistani openers Rizwan and captain Babar Azam failed to score impressively in the match.
Fakhar Zaman and Asif Ali, on the other hand, made significant contributions.
India, on the other hand, has won both of their warm-up games against England and Australia.
