According to sources, Lahore Qalandars, a Pakistan Super League (PSL) franchise, is organising a tri-series with Yorkshire County Cricket Club and Titans, a South African local team.

The three cricket teams have formed a collaboration to identify exceptional cricketers from all three countries and give them with a platform to demonstrate their abilities to the rest of the cricketing world. The Lahore Qalandars and Yorkshire County Cricket Club first agreed to a two-team arrangement, but the Titans of South Africa were then added to make it a three-team pact.

A player exchange programme, scholarship initiatives for prospective cricketers, and training opportunities are also included in the agreement. Haris Rauf, Pakistan’s star right-arm bowler, has been signed by Yorkshire as part of a player exchange programme for the current County Championship season.

The administration of the Lahore Qalandars is considering holding a series between the three teams as a way to promote the game further. Through their talent hunt initiative, the PSL 7 champions have been at the forefront of providing young cricketers with opportunity to excel at the highest level.

Haris Rauf, Dilbar Hussain, Ahmed Daniyal, and Syed Faridoun have all gone on to play in the Big Bash League (BBL), with Rauf being a key member of the national team.

The tri-series concept is still in its early stages, and the brand will soon unveil more specifics. The series is expected to take place later this year, although the location has yet to be determined.
