
Former Pakistan left-arm pacer Mohammad Amir has offered Nida Dar financial assistance after she was duped out of Rs. 5 lakh. Nida revealed that she had been duped at an event in her honor, where the organizers had presented her with a cheque but had failed to transfer the money to her.

Nida went on to say that she was in desperate financial need and that the money was needed for her father’s treatment, as he is currently in the hospital following an accident. Nida revealed that she is the sole provider for her family and that the cost of the treatment is currently beyond her means.
Mohammad Amir, Pakistan’s pacer, responded to the tweet and offered assistance to Pakistan’s star player. He asked Shoaib Jutt to send him Nida’s contact information so that he could assist her.
Nida Dar is a veteran of Pakistan’s women’s cricket team. She is the only Pakistani bowler with 100 T20I wickets and the fourth-highest wicket-taker in women’s T20I history. In 108 T20I matches, she has taken 103 wickets at an average of 18.16 and an economy rate of 5.38. She has also scored over 1,000 runs in ODIs and T20Is and is Pakistan’s third-highest T20I run-scorer.
