Rizwan became the 14th wicket-keeper in history to record 100 T20 catches. In only 156 T20 matches, he reached the milestone. Rizwan has 36 stumpings to go along with his 100 catches. Rizwan has been dismissed 136 times in 152 T20 matches. In T2o cricket, only 12 wicket-keepers have more dismissals than Rizwan, and all of them have played more matches than him. With over 100 dismissals, the 29-year-old has the third-best dismissal/innings ratio among wicket-keepers. Only former Pakistani wicketkeeper Kamran Akmal and Sri Lankan legend Kumar Sangakkara have a higher dismissal/innings ratio than Rizwan.
Rizwan had two catches during the game. Suryakumar Yadav, the middle-order batter, was caught off Hasan Ali’s bowling for his 99th catch. His 100th catch was a memorable one of Indian captain Virat Kohli off Shaheen Shah Afridi’s bowling.
