
Pakistan’s wicket-keeping batsman Mohammad Rizwan achieved historical achievement, becoming a calendar year’s top T20I scorer. In the second T20I against the West Indians, Rizwan reached record by helping Pakistan win seven times against the hosts.
Scored in 46 runs 36 bands with 2 fours and 2 sixes, Rizwan kept on his fantastic shape. His superb innings contributed to Pakistan’s 1-0 lead in the four-series T20I.
Over the past year, the flashy wicket-keeper was red-hot. In 2021, he already won 752 runs on the T20I, most of them in a calendar year for every player. In a calendar year, Rizwan outperformed Irish batsman, Paul Stirling, who recorded the most T20I runs, with a score of 748 runs in 2019.

The 29-year-old 752 runs have averaged 94.00 in 14 innings and a strike rate of 140.03. His incredible history has spanned seven 50’s and one outstanding century. He also hit 25 six, the second-highest in 2021.
In addition to Pakistan’s planned to meet New Zealand, Rizwan is looking for England in October before the T20 World Cup. Pakistan still has at least 10 T20I matches left in its calendar year, and, according to the shape of Rizwan, it would be no wonder that he became the first batsman to score 1000 T20I in a calendar year.
