Nawaz clarifies about the last over drama in the third T20I against Bangladesh

Mohammad Nawaz, who hit the winning boundary in the third Twenty20 International against Bangladesh, said he wasn’t looking at the bowler as Mahmudullah bowled.

In Dhaka, the final over was full of drama and twists as Pakistan lost three wickets as the match neared its conclusion.

With only two required off the final two balls, Nawaz, who was facing Mahmudullah, drew away just as the ball was halfway to the batsman. The ball had collided with the stumps. Following a brief discussion with the umpires, it was decided that the bowler would bowl again.

“Mahmudullah delivered the ball at the start of his run-up, and I was looking down, knowing he’d take a few more steps before reaching the crease.” “I withdrew as he delivered the ball from the beginning of his run-up,” Nawaz explained.
The all-rounder stated that he was hoping for a run to tie the match. “When I saw the last legitimate ball, I knew I could hit it in that gap and win the match.”

Batting skills are being honed.
Nawaz stated that he has been practicing his batting. He went on to say that batting is just as important as bowling for an all-rounder.

“I’m working hard on my batting these days, knowing that in order to be a good dependable all-rounder, you have to be equally good with the bat.” Haider was named man of the match for his outstanding batting performance with the bat, scoring 45 points off 38 balls. He stated that he intended to remain at the crease until the very end.

“I wanted to stay with Sarfaraz Bhai until the victory was achieved,” Haider explained.

Mohammad Rizwan, who won the player of the series award, admitted that they were playing on tougher pitches than they did in the T20 World Cup.

“Look, we just got back from the World Cup, and our preparations were never meant for these pitches.”These are not at all like what we saw during the World Cup. Despite the fact that Pakistan won the series 3-0, playing on these tracks was never easy. “The ball was coming at a snail’s pace.”
