The International Cricket Council’s acting chief executive, Geoff Allardice, has stated that there is no chance of a Pakistan-India bilateral taking place anytime soon.
“Of course, we enjoy it when they play each other in our events,” Allardice told the Belfast Telegraph.
“However, the ICC cannot influence the relationship between the two countries and the boards,” the acting chief executive said.

India last hosted Pakistan in a bilateral series in 2013, and the teams now only meet in global tournaments, the most recent being the T20 World Cup, which the Men in Green won — their first World Cup victory over India.
However, both of them were eliminated from the tournament, with India exiting at the Super 12 stage and Pakistan exiting at the semi-final stage.
