Zomato used phrases from Momin Saqib’s viral video to mock Pakistani captain Babar Azam and PCB.
The video went viral after Pakistan was defeated by India in the 2019 World Cup.
“Dear PCB, if you’re looking for burgers or pizza tonight, we’re just a DM away,” Saqib said with a winking face emoji, according to Zomato.
Careem’s Twitter page for Pakistani customers, on the other hand, had none of that.
By offering some ‘fantastic tea,’ the app poked fun at Zomato.
“Don’t worry, we’ll bring them free burgers and pizza tomorrow.” Careem Pakistan asked, “And some ‘fantastic tea’ for you?” The phrase “fantastic tea” became popular in 2019 after an interrogation video of captured Indian wing commander Abhinandhan praising a Pakistani major for the tea he was given surfaced.
Cricket fans are ecstatic about today’s match at the Dubai International Stadium. The game will begin at 7:00 p.m. (PST).
