As Babar Azam and his team prepare to face arch-rival India, politicians from across the political spectrum wished the Pakistan team luck against Virat Kohli and co.
Pakistan and India will begin their T20 World Cup campaigns at the Dubai International Stadium tonight.
Since 2013, both teams have only met in ICC tournaments. The arch-rivals last met in 2019 during the ODI World Cup, with India defeating Pakistan by 89 runs.
Taimur Khan Jhagra, the Finance Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, took to Twitter to support the boys in green.

Murtaza Wahab, PPP leader and Administrator of Karachi, hoped and prayed that Pakistan would win and break their world cup winless streak against India.
