
For the T20 World Cup 2021, the Pakistan Cricket Council (PCB) released the 15 member roster. The same team will take part in the next series T20I against New Zealand and England. Babar Azam, the all-rounder of Shadab Khan, will lead the Men of Green in the mega event, as expected. The team comprises a number of surprises, including Azam khan, Asif Ali, Khushdil Shah and Mohammad Wasim Jnr, with the expected names Mohammad Rizwan, Mohammad Hafeez, Shaheen Afridi and Hasan Ali among the 15.

Surprisingly, Pakistan has left leg spinning specialist Usman Qadir out of the T20 World Cup roster and seasoned all-rounder Faheem Ashraf. The two had been favourite before Mohammad Nawaz and Mohammad Wasim Jnr.
Pakistan will open its campaign on the 24th of October in an octaneous meeting with India’s arch-rivals. Then they will play New Zealand, Afghanistan and two round one qualifiers.
