Bangladesh has set Pakistan a target of 125 in 20 overs in the third T20I in Dhaka.
Mohammad Naim of Bangladesh batted brilliantly, scoring 47 off 50 balls, including two sixes and two fours. Shamim Hossain was the inning’s second-highest scorer, with 22 off 23 balls and four fours.
Pakistan’s Shahnawaz Dahani began his T20I career by dismissing Najmul Hossain Shanto. In three overs, he allowed only 24 runs. Mohammad Wasim Jr, a right-arm pacer, and Usman Qadir, a leg-spinner, each took two wickets. While Iftikhar Ahmed, who replaced veteran all-rounder Shoaib Malik, was unable to take a wicket.
Pakistan now needs 125 runs in 20 overs at a run rate of 6.25.
