The preparations for the upcoming series between Pakistan and the West Indies are well underway in Karachi, with a foolproof security plan already delivered to the relevant authorities.

According to details, the Sindh home department called a meeting on Monday to discuss security arrangements for the West Indies tour of Pakistan and advised law enforcement agencies to implement the strictest security measures possible.

The meeting was attended by Karachi’s Additional Inspector General (AIG) of Special Branch, AIG Operations, and DIG Security, as well as officials from law enforcement agencies. Special Security Unit commandos and lady commandos, as well as officers from other forces, will be deployed to provide security to the West Indies squad.

Maqsood Ahmed Memon, DIG Security, revealed that the security forces will also deploy sharpshooters in s The West Indies will visit the country in the second week of December for a three-match T20I series and a three-match ODI series. All six matches will take place at Karachi’s National Stadium. The first match of the tour will be played on December 13th, when the two teams play the first T20I.

The three-match ODI series will be part of the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup Super League, and both teams will be determined to gain as many points as possible and climb the table in order to qualify for the 2023 ICC ODI Cricket World Cup, which will be held in India.
