Pakistan vs New Zealand What strategy should Pak adopt against NZ in first ODI

On Friday in Pindi Cricket Stadium, Pakistan and New Zealand will be performing their first ODI of the three ODI. The match is scheduled for beginning at 12:30 local time.

Yesterday the Play XII for the first ODI was reported on by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB). At least two wrist-spinners will play against New Zealand from Pakistan according to the confirmed roster.

Shadab Khan, Usman Qadir and Zahid Mehmood were included as spinners in the team together with the vice captain of the team.

Besides Shadab, there will be at least one more wrist spinner on Friday. However, it cannot exclude the integration of all three bracelets in the openings, even if it mostly relies on the wicket status during the day-night match.

A curator at the Pindi Cricket Stadium said: “The surface is dry to begin with, and helpful to spinners, but you will never know what would happen during a day-night game. Under these heavy conditions, the work of seamers becomes all the more vital. Therefore, it is never a prudent choice to go with three spinners and two seamers.”

Three seamers and two wrist-spinners would be the best choice for Pakistan. He indicated that one of the Usman and Zahid wrist spinners will be the 12th.

The finest possibilities for pacers are projected for Shaheen Shah Afridi, Hasan Ali and Haris Rauf.

“It’s a three-game series and for the following two matches we could see some adjustments. Currently, we see that the 12 are the best ones for the opener,” said a team official.

A scenario-based practise match in which all 12 members had an equal opportunity to demonstrate competence was played by the National Team. On Wednesday night, 45 excesses were bowled during the practise match.

‘Babar’s got the authority to name the XI’

The Playing XI for the first Black Caps ODI has been given to Skipper Babar Azam.

“Babar has all the abilities to list and then name the XI player,” stated one of the PCB officials.

On Wednesday, Black Caps had the day off and decided to stay at the hotel rooms in the neighbourhoods around them.
