PCB Denies Rumors of Not Paying Domestic Cricketers for Local Competitions

Famous sports journalist Hasan Cheema criticised PCB, alleging that domestic cricketers were not compensated for the just finished National T20 Cup 2022. However, a source within the PCB claimed that it was simply propaganda against the cricket board.

The Islamabad United analyst Hasan Cheema took to Twitter to provide the players’ viewpoint. He claimed that the players were unhappy with the PCB’s unclear selection process. Additionally, PCB did not pay the players who were selected and participated in national competitions. Additionally, according to Hasan Cheema, players were only paid roughly Rs. 2,500 per match, which was a pittance compared to the actual match money. Similar charges were made by Hasan Cheema last year, but PCB has not responded.
