PSL 2021: Islamabad United Wins The Match Against Peshawar Zalmi

Islamabad United Wins The Match Against Peshawar Zalmi

In the 26th game of the Pakistan Super League (PSL 2021, 6th edition), Islamabad United has won the game with 15 runs against Peshawar Zalmi.

Today (Thursday), Islamabad made history by collecting the largest number of PSL until now and shattering the mammoth 247 runs out of 20.

The century against Peshawar of Usman Khawaja helped Islamabad easily reach 247 goals.

In order to achieve this, Peshawar now will need the hercules of their batsmen.

Colin Munro and Khawaja set the tone for Islamabad early and took Islamabad 98 laps before Shoaib Malek was clean in the 10th.

At the end of the 10th round, Islamabad was 99 at the loss of 1 wicket, and Peshawar hoped to help her slow down the pace of Islambad.

However, Asif Ali, who was sent early, took the chance from the openers and broke 43 runs on 14 balls before being thrown out in the 13th round.

In the 14th place and on the 18th over their 200th round, Islamabad could achieve 150, as a result of Asif’s offensive batting.

Once Asif had been dismissed from office, Islamabad sent Brandon King, who would continue the charge against Peshawar. He took 46 runs on a 22-ball race and gave Usman excellent support.

He finished the entrance with 105 runs. While the only wicket-takers for Peshawar were Malik and Sameen Gul.

Previously, Peshawar Zalmi won the toss and first opted to fight Islamabad United

It’s the same pitch where Islamabad in the last game has ruptured with ten wickets and it still looks like a robust track.
