After four consecutive defaults in a 6th edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL 2021), Lahore Qalandars, who was once seen to be playing, now stands on the verge of elimination.
Lahore now pinned her hopes on the win against Karachi Kings by Quetta Gladiators this evening to proceed in the next stage.
After having won five matchs, they finished the league stage with 10 points and lost five, with a terrible Net Run (NRR) rate of -0.589.

There are also two other teams with 10 points on the table.
Peshawar Zalmi has finished his part in the League games with an NRR of 0.586 of ten points.
The Multilateral Sultans have an NRR of 1,192. Their last match against Islamabad United is scheduled to take place tonight.
Logically, Multan with an epic NRR is sure to qualify, but a confirmation is expected mathematically. Only if Islamabad defeats them with as large a 300-plus margin is possible could they be removed.
In nine games Karachi has 8 points and an NRR of -0.212. They will also jump to 10 points on the table if they manage to beat Quetta.

The NRR is better than Lahore, Karachi will get them to play off and Lahore, together with Quetta, will be eradicated.
If Quetta defeats Karachi, he will be playing 4th spot on the table with Islamabad, Multan and Peshawar.
