On Thursday evening in Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2021 Lahore Qalandars beat Peshawar Zalmi in ten races.

Peshawar Zalmi chased a target from 171. After he came into bat, Shoaib Malik stood firmly. Until the 19th and 65th half a century in his T20 career, he remained on the wicket, but he couldn’t help his side win the game.

But after the loss of the match, in his statement, Shoaib Malik said, “Too many runs in the death overflow have been leaked after the good start against Lahore Qalandars.”

“We were leaked with death rows, as a team, we didn’t expect Lahore Qalandars to score about 170 and the trick we had missed was better,” Malik said.

“The bowling of Rashid Khan turned the table, broke our back, and took all our wickets. So, despite leaks on death rows, he played the key role and the difference between the two sides,” said the former captain of Pakistan.

“I always played for the sake of my team and I’ll continue as long as I play cricket,” added Shoaib Malik.

“We had a great bowl in the beginning, but I believe we did not have a wrist spinner available in the middle. At the same time, however, we must thank Ben Dunk and David, who really beat and maintained a high strike rate to help LQ post a good total,” said the 39-year-old player.
