PSL 2022 Franchises accept Pakistan Cricket Board offer

PSL 2022: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) said today that six Pakistan Super League (PSL) teams have accepted their offer, which was presented to the Governing Council in Lahore last month.

The following are some of the most important terms of the accepted offer:

PSL 5 and 6 alleviations with Covid-19

For PSL 7–20, the Central Pool of Revenue was revised upward in favor of the franchises.

Locking in the dollar rate with a future consequence

Ramiz Raja, Chairman of the PCB, expressed his delight at the outcome, adding, “I am delighted to announce that all distractions have been resolved.” PCB aims to build a good relationship with franchisees so that PSL may be expanded to new heights.

“Long-standing issues between the PCB and franchises were causing a diversion and harming the brand’s reputation,” he said. I am relieved that all issues have been resolved, as this is a significant step toward strengthening our connection with the franchise owners, and we look forward to working with them to push the HBL PSL to new heights.”

PSL is very near to the franchisers’ hearts, and accepting PCB’s offer is proof of our commitment to make PSL the best cricket league, they said in a joint statement.

“HBL PSL is very dear to our hearts,” he stated. Since 2016, we’ve all put in a lot of effort to get it to where it is now. The acceptance of the PCB offer demonstrates our dedication and resolve to grow and improve the HBL PSL, which will feature the top players, be commercially sponsored by elite corporations, and be watched live by passionate cricket fans in Pakistan and around the world.”
