Lahore Qalandars Squad 2022
For the fifth time in six seasons, Lahore Qalandars failed to qualify for the PSL playoffs. While their performances were far better than in previous seasons, they lacked the consistency and skill needed to overcome adversity and advance to the PSL 6 second round. Lahore, on the other hand, has made some shrewd moves in the PSL 2022 draught and will be hoping to at least reach the competition’s play-offs. The Qalandars ended barely outside the play-offs, having been eliminated due to a lower net run rate than their arch-rivals, the Karachi Kings. The team lacked composure and had a significant middle-order gap, which ultimately led to their demise. Haris Rauf, Shaheen Afridi, Rashid Khan, Mohammad Hafeez, and Zaman Khan are among the Lahore Qalandars’ dangerous bowling assaults, which will aid them in their effort to finish in the top four.
Lahore Qalandars team players
The backbone of the Lahore Qalandars team from the previous season has been retained for PSL 7. Shaheen Afridi, Haris Rauf, Rashid Khan, Fakhar Zaman, Mohammad Hafeez, and David Wiese are among the Qalandars who have been kept or re-picked. Fresh faces like Phil Salt, Harry Brook, and Abdullah Shafique have joined the squad, while veterans like Samit Patel, Sohail Akhtar, and Zeeshan Ashraf bring much-needed experience. Young talents like Zaman Khan and Syed Faridoun are among the Lahore Qalandars’ roster, which will be a welcome change.
