The International Cricket Council (ICC) was assured by BCCI on the issue of visas.

The Cricket Contingent Board of India (BCCI) previously ensured that the T20 World Cup would not cause problems for the Pakistani contingent.

The Chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), Ehsan Mani, has expressed concern about visa issues for Pakistani players, the media, and fans.

“BCCI wrote to the International Cricket Council (ICC), which guaranteed that the Pakistan contingent would not be involved in any complications during the October/November tournament in India,” the report said.

“I asked the ICC to provide our players, fans, and journalists with written confirmation, particularly with visas,” Mani said. “ICC has assured us that we will receive the confirmation of our constitutional right before the end of this month.”

Earlier, if India does not give PCB written assurance regarding visa concerns, the chairman had asked ICC to move the tournament to United Arab Emirates (UAE).
