T20 World Cup Co-host Oman to take on Tigers in tonights qualifiers

The ICC T20 World Cup has begun with Round One matches. The top two teams from each Round One group will advance to the main stage.

Oman will play Bangladesh at Al-Amerat Cricket Stadium tonight at 7:00 p.m. PST.
Oman had played one match in the group stage, defeating Papua New Guinea by ten wickets, with the opening batsmen Jatinde Singh and Aqib Ilyas scoring 131 runs unbeaten.

Zeeshan Maqsood, Oman’s captain, was named man of the match after taking four wickets for 20 runs in four overs.

Bangladesh’s first match was against Scotland, which they lost by six runs.
