T20 World Cup Scotland to take on Papua New Guinea in todays qualifiers

The ICC T20 World Cup Round One began on October 17 to determine who will join the Super12 along with other teams. The top two teams in each group will advance to the Super12.

Scotland will play Papua New Guinea today at 3:00 p.m. PST at Al Amerat Cricket Ground.

Scotland played its first match against Bangladesh on the first day of the T20 World Cup, defeating the Tigers by 6 runs. Chris Greaves was named player of the match after assisting Scotland in reaching 140-9 and then taking two wickets for 19 runs.

Papua New Guinea lost by ten wickets in their first match against co-host Oman. This was PNG’s first appearance in the T20 World Cup.
