Umar Gul raises question over professionalism in PCB

Former fast bowler Umar Gul has been contacted to position as assistant coach of the squad in Balochistan by Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB). Later, however, without his notification the Board charged the decision.

Umar questioned the board’s professionalism in his account on Twitter, as he cancelled his other obligations after he had been assured by the board that the team from Balochistan would take over a coaching position.

“I’m disappointed that the PCB often lacks professionalism. Having passed the process and Grant Bradburn promised me that I am recommended to the Baluchistan assistant coach. And I came to know that Raj Hans was preferred without any information?” he wrote.

Umar remarked, and also tagged PCB Chairman, Ramiz Raja, that I don’t know if things ever will change.” In his last domestic season, Umar Gul represented the Balochistan squad. Last year, he took home cricket retirement.
