Wahab Riaz Reveals the Real Reason Why He and Amir Are Ignored

Pakistan’s seasoned pacemaker Wahab Riaz expressed his resentment that he was excluded on the basis of a single series from the first-team action.

The 35-year-old said that his profile had probably not found favour with the selectors while talking to the media about his misery about the uncertain selection criteria for the Pakistan Crickets Council (PCB).

Riaz highlighted the further necessity for the balance of the team by suggesting that the bowling attack should be a combination of experience and a young age.

He further revealed that Mohammad Wasim, Chief Selector, had urged him to make his bowling better.

“You will see improvements, I’m working on it,” he said.

In Riaz’s July series against England, he is optimistic about his possible return to action. He said the team also needs Mohammad Amir’s experience.
